About the Artist
Biosketch
The Group in the Loop has been in existence since 1984. Currently the hosting studio, 3-A, is occupied by Alan Brewen, Axel Kairies, Irving Pudetti, and Enrique Viturro.
They offer open figure drawing and painting sessions with different models each week.
Drawing is held on Tuesday from 7pm – 10pm and includes poses of varying duration, typically starting with poses of short (3 minute) duration and gradually increasing to longer (30 minute) poses.
Painting is held on Thursday evenings from 7pm – 10pm and involves a single pose that is repeated for four sessions.??Any interested artist is welcome to walk in to paint or draw with the Group.
The fee for the cost of the model is $12.00 per three-hour session or $4.00 per hour.??
