I was born and raised in London, England, where I went to the Convent of the Sacred Heart and studied under Margaret Hall, RA and, briefly, at Chelsea Art School. Later, after moving to the United States and getting married, I moved to Rochester, NY, and took Fine Arts Courses at Rochester Institue of Technology and received a degree in Art History from the University of Rochester. I have always painted and studied the history of art.
I'm frequently asked, "Where do your ideas come from?" Subjects for paintings (at least, mine) come from the imagination, and my paintings have been described as "Surreal"; I have a surreal imagination—or, I'm a surrealist. However, I do also make an occasional detour into landscape and still life.
