About the Artist
Biosketch
I am a native of Western NY and have lived in Rochester since 1980. I studied painting while at Sarah Lawrence College and currently take painting classes at the MAG creative workshop. For many years I had a studio in the Fabrics & Findings building where I was a member of the Anderson Alley Group. I recently re-located my studio to my home in Pittsford and remain an Anderson Alley Guest Artist. I paint in oils, mostly landscape, still life and the occasional figurative piece. I regard these subjects as starting points for further exploration of color and form.
